People search for a sense of place in their surroundings that connect them to the past and future possibilities.

The Scott Avenue design-build project located in the heart of downtown Tucson plays a key role in Tucson’s pedestrian circulation. Site amenities such as wide sidewalks, storm water harvesting, street trees and furnishings, public art opportunities and gateway features were included.

Unique Features:

Coordination with roadway engineers and the development and documentation of passive water harvesting features. The Scott Avenue Gateway depicts the history of Scott Avenue. Interpretative anodized aluminum panels with photographs and text provide an overview of
the historic buildings and events.
