The University of Arizona Campus Sixth Street Residence Halls
aim to embody sustainability of both the student community
and of the surrounding environment.

 

Unique Features:

Extensive collaboration and refinement efforts with Architects, Civil Engineers and Owner, provided fully vetted design strategies including water harvesting strategies in which storm water was collected, conveyed and distributed to sub-surface soil depths providing the deep soil moisture profile required for meso-riparian trees.

 

Responsibilities:

Project Manager, Designer, Construction Documentation and Construction Administration. With Wheat Scharf Associates.

 

Awards:
• LID: Low Impact Development Workshop, Tucson, Az. April 2015.

• US Green Building Council LEED Platinum rating.
